Cardiff Blues is the regional rugby team incorporating South Powys, Merthyr, Rhondda Cynon Taf, the Vale of Glamorgan and Cardiff Unitary Authorities. The region extends up to Builth Wells and Llandrindod Wells in Powys and Penarth and Barry in the south.
The team has a relatively short history, being established in the Summer 2003, but its origins are steeped in history and glory. Playing at the infamous Cardiff Arms Park, known throughout the world as one of the most popular arena’s in the sport. The ground has seen many celebrated victories for both Cardiff Rugby Club and Cardiff Blues, as the best in Wales and the world have been conquered.
